A Slow, Intentional Journey of Craft
The journey begins with selecting the right plank. Grain, character, and strength are studied carefully. Only the finest pieces move forward.
The wood is allowed to settle. This prevents future movement and ensures long-term stability of the final piece.
Artisans carve the rough structure by hand. The foundation of the box, urn, or watch case is shaped with precision and experience.
Fine carvings, motifs, curves, and signature patterns are added. This stage defines the character and uniqueness of each piece.
Joints, panels, and fittings come together. Every corner must align perfectly to ensure durability and a smooth feel.
A deep sanding removes imperfections and reveals the natural texture of the grain. The piece begins to feel refined.
Edges are softened, corners are perfected, and any line that feels slightly off is corrected by hand. This step adds harmony to the form.
Multiple fine-grit sanding rounds create the signature Hirfa smoothness that customers instantly recognize when they touch the piece.
Premium finishes—natural oils or PU coatings—are applied in thin, even layers to protect the wood while keeping its beauty alive.
Magnets, hinges, locks, and internal elements are added with careful alignment so everything feels smooth and premium.
Every detail is checked: finish, fit, closure, alignment, resistance, texture. Nothing leaves the atelier unless it meets our standard.
Finally, the piece is polished, wrapped, and packed securely. It leaves the workshop carrying the time, effort, and emotion invested into it.
